Clubs generally have monthly meetings and monthly trail rides,
plus other events, such as swap-meets, rallies, dinners, truck
pulls, mud bogs, poker runs, parties, community activities
and charitable events.
Membership requirements, policies, and dues vary by club,

Rocket City Rock Crawlers 4 Wheel Drive Club is a family-oriented club located in North Alabama and is open to all four wheel drive vehicles (no ATVs). We are active in the local community and promote responsible 4-wheeling. The club currently meets at 7:00 PM on the first Thursday of each month; check the website calendar for location. The Georgia Bounty Runners club holds one business meeting and one trail ride each month. The club meeting is held on the first Saturday (second Saturday if the first weekend is a holiday) of the month. The monthly club trail ride consists of going to such places like Beasley Knob, Morris Mountain, Mont Eagle, Black Mountain (Harlan, KY), or going to events like Dixie Run or Mud 4 Blood. Stock vehicles are welcome! Don't worry if your 4x4 is not built up or tricked out. Most of the member's vehicles are stock or just slightly modified and are used for daily commuting. For that reason you also shouldn't be too concerned with damaging your truck. Also, the Georgia Bounty Runners adhere to "Tread Lightly" which promotes responsible use of our nation's public and private lands. Please check out our website for meeting times and join our forum. We are a family orientated club and believe in responsible four wheeling. We frequently enjoy four wheeling at such places as Beasley, Tellico, Rich Mtn., Allatoona, Amicalola, Mt. Aetna and various other local off-road areas. We have an official club ride every month but members are usually out every weekend. Besides four wheeling we also have cookouts, campouts and other family orientated activities. The Carolina Trailblazers Four Wheel Drive Club is a family oriented club formed in 1971 and incorporated in 1973. We ride trails of medium difficulty most of the time but we sometimes ride trails that are suitable for stock vehicles and sometimes hit the real hardcore stuff. We "Tread Lightly" to minimize the ecological impact of our hobby and try to leave the trails a bit cleaner than we found them. Many of the club members live near Hickory, NC but some live as far away as Eastern NC, SC and TN. Our scheduled trail rides usually take place on the weekend of the second Sunday of the month and can be a one to five hour drive from Hickory. We are a family oriented club that runs out of Greenville, SC. A lot of our members drive Jeeps of some sort, but we have a good assortment of various four-wheel drive vehicles. We are open to all makes and models. Our vehicles range anywhere from bone-stock to modified. Our emphasis is on having a good time and respecting the land and other land-users. We are members of United and Southern Four-Wheel Drive Associations and we practice Tread Lightly! The DamnLocals 4x4 Club is family oriented and we put on club rides that allow the entire family to participate. We also have the extreme rides for the times that the family might not want to ride on.We have at least one club ride per month and we also host at least one other ride for other 4x4 clubs/groups that visit our area.Sometimes we might have three or four rides a month. We are a very active club located in the middle Tennessee area. We have organized rides planned for Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend.We are involved with the Grundy County Fair Association and they allow us to use the fair grounds as our rally point. Most of the 4x4s in the club are equipped with a winch, locked at both ends, and have at least 33” tires. Extensive vehicle modifications are not required, but everyone should have basic safety equipment such as a roll cage and seat belts. The club meets every first Monday of each month at various restaurant locations. Check our website for specific times and location.

RattleRock Four Wheel Drive Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the sport of four wheeling. Most of the 4x4's in our club are large to extra large. We as a club focus on trail riding, trail maintenance and a close relationship with WindRock Off Road Park for the purpose of building new trails. As we are the club that built the RattleRock Trail, we strive to exceed our own expectations. At about 42 members (families) we meet at Thunder World in Maryville the third Saturday of each month and ride several weekends per month with road trips about every other month, some nationwide. We adhere to "Tread Lightly" and believe all folks should enjoy the beauty of the area in which we live. We extend our invitation to join us at our meetings or on the rides. We are a club of mainly 35 inch tire rigs but any four wheel drive vehicle is welcome to join. our club meets the second Tuesday of the month at Bain & Holden Tire in Englewood, TN at 7PM and we ride the following Saturday. The Scenic City 4 Wheel Drive Club was formally the Chattanooga Mudslingers. We are a family oriented club with events attended by wives and children of all ages. We promote the proper use and preservation of lands and are active members in the United and Southern Four Wheel Drive Associations. Meetings are the second Tuesday of every month at the Rib and Loin near the Lowes on Hwy 153. Dinner starts at 6:30 PM and the meeting at 7:30 PM. Meetings: Quarterly at a meeting facility (may be a park or a house or a meeting roomt); monthly we will check in by e-mail with thoughts and have meeting on trail.
Vehicle Requirements: Vehicle must have at least one locked differential. Good tow hooks front and rear required. Winch recommended. CB radio or hand-held in vehicle. Minimum 33 inch tires. Southern 4WD Association required safety equipment.
No alcohol or drugs allowed. All members ride at own risk.
Membership Requirements:
Step 1: Membership is by invitation only by a current member.
Step 2: One meeting and three trail rides must be attended (must drive own vehicle).
