The 2000 Royal Blue Cleanup

The Tennessee Valley Four Wheelers (TVFW) in cooperation with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency sponsored the Ninth Annual Royal Blue Cleanup. It was held on March 19, 2000.

We had Volunteers from all over East Tennessee area, and some from Kentucky. Also we can't forget Stan Stooksbury and his people from the TWRA, and if it wasn't for Waste Management of Knoxville, TN we wouldn't had a dumpster and disposal of all the trash that was picked up.

After having a bad weather forecast with several inches of rain predicted we still had a fair turnout for the event. The funny thing is, it didn't start raining until we were on our way home.

This was the 9th year for this event for the TVFWs and with a smaller turnout than expected we still managed to pickup a lot of trash that was along the highways and on the trails in Campbell County.

We would like to thank the Southern Four Wheel Drive Association and others in helping to get the word out for volunteers. And we would like to thank all that participated in the event. If it wasn't for you this couldn't have happened.
