Uwharrie National Forest

 The Uwharrie National Forest is located in North Carolina in the Montgomery, Randolph, and Davidson Counties. The Badin Lake OHV Area offers 16 miles of trails maintained primarily for 4WD vehicle (i.e., Jeeps, etc), ATV and motorcycle use, toilets, parking areas, information boards and trash collection.

Please phone ahead to the Ranger office to make sure the Uwharrie OHV Trail System is not under a weather closure when you arrive. The OHV trails are usually closed during the winter (approx mid-December through end of March).
