Summer SFWDA Meet & Ride 2019 at Trials Training Center - The Cove Ride - July 13th

Download and Print at Home.

It’s almost here. The ride people have asked for over and over is coming back again to The Cove. Come join SFWDA for our upcoming and totally free Meet & Ride through the majestic and mysterious “Coppingers Cove” July 13th. Membership not required. We will be accepting donations for A Soldiers Child Charity. This is sure to be a cool way to enjoy the trails during he heat of the summer! The best part is we’re leading varied difficulty level groups in and out with the assistance of local knowledgeable volunteer SFWDA members to make sure we see all the best stuff.

We will be meeting up at 8 AM Central at the Trials Training Center who also has RV slips, Cabins, and Primitive Camping options available. Reservations can be made for lodging direct through TTC.

Local and fellow SFWDA Club; Scenic City 4 WD Drive is hosting this event for us. This club is local to the Cove and know the trails very well. They will be our guides for the day to lead on the adventure.

There is no fee to ride these trails or attend the event. We are asking all attendees help us to contribute all proceeds in honor of A Soldiers Child Foundation. This great charity supports families of soldiers in times of need. Cash donations will be accepted directly at the event before we hit the trails at 9 AM Central.

When we do split up into groups we will divide into varying difficulty levels so that everyone who attends enjoys themselves and comes back to TTC safe and sound. After the day trip through the Cove we will return to the parking lot at TTC. A packed lunch is suggested and lots of water is required along with standard safety gear, and maybe a CB radio within your vehicle.

Last but not least. There will also be a Raffle with a variety of prizes from SPIDERWWEBSHADE and TREADLIGHTLY! .

No membership is required. Come on out and ride with SFWDA.
See You There……

Here is what the new BKORP is like?

Nestled in a cove just outside downtown Stevenson, sits Busted Knuckle Off Road Park. 600+ acres of classic North Alabama terrain. Rocky hills and rising hardwood benches cover the perimeter of the property with a long, open valley running through the center. We have a little of everything, from casual trails to the most extreme hill climbs in the Southeast. Located right on Highway 117, entrance and exit to BKORP is a breeze, even for semi trucks, with plenty of open area for parking. If you've never been here before, come see what all the fuss is about. If you have been here before, come check out the many new trails!

Primitive Camping is available on the park campground. You may arrive on Friday to setup camp and depart on Sunday if you prefer.
