This year's event will be August 30th 2014, starting at 9am.
The Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion is an annual event hosted by the Smoky Mountain Jeep Club. It is open to all Jeep enthusiasts. Anyone who owns or loves Jeeps is welcome and encouraged to attend this fun-filled, social event. The event is FREE to all attendies.
The first Jeep Invasion event was held in Townsend, TN in 2013, and had 165 plus Jeeps attending. SMJC expects to triple that number this year!
This year SMJC will be hosting the event at THE ISLAND, the newest attraction in Pigeon Forge. Attendees can enjoy all that The Island has to offer, including fine restaurants like Margaritaville, Dick's Last Resort, Mellow Mushroom and Timberwood Grill. Attractions at the Island include the 200ft Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, The Island Show Fountain, The Mirror Maze, Arcade City and More! ~There is a Special "JEEP ONLY" parking area for attendies to this event so bring your Jeep and be part of the largest Jeep Gathering in TN history. There are several Hotel and Motel accommodations within walking distance of the event and the Island. (A list of those offering special discounts to our Jeeping visitors will be posted on this FB page.) Several National and local Jeep Vendors will be displaying their products and Vehicles in the event area, you don't want to miss this opportunity to see all the cool new stuff available for your Jeep. We will be raffling off merchandise and gift certificates at the conclusion of the event with proceeds to benefit The Smoky Mountain Service Dogs; (SMJC's designated charity benefit.)
There is also a Trolley that stops directly in front of our event location that will take you to anywhere in Pigeon Forge and even Gatlinburg during the event. Feel free to park your Jeep and explore all that Pigeon Forge and "The Island" has to offer, but make sure to return later in the day for our exciting raffles and prizes drawing!
