NOHVCC - Tennessee hosted it's second annual TN OHV Day on the Hill where representatives of various motorized recreation groups (off-roading) came to the capitol to enjoy the end of session legislative fun, meet with state elected officials and gathered in the awe-inspiring senate chambers for updates and discussion on several significant projects across the state.
Through its Outstanding Trails program that promotes sustainable and responsible off-road driving, BFGoodrich Tires will once again award grants of $4,000 each to three qualified and passionate off-road clubs in North America. These clubs will use their grants to continue their efforts that preserve and protect their hometown trails
There will be an open Volunteer Work Day this Saturday, May 16th at the Uwharrie National Forest. Meet at the Hunt Camp at 9am.
This is part of a long term on-going project where each month folks from around the area put forth volunteer time to maintain the trails inside of our national Forest.
SFWDA Meet and Ride, June 6, 2015 Beasley Knob OHV, Blairsville, GA Hosted by the Georgia Bounty Runners

11th annual SFWDA Trailfest Event.
Trailfest 2015 is a 3 day off road festival organized by the Southern Four Wheel Drive Association. Organized trail rides, a huge raffle, dirt track racing, camping, and much more! Trailfest 2015 was a great event and has been getting bigger every year. Thanks to Nick from www.toms4x4superstore.com for putting this video together for us all.
Proceeds from this weekends event go back to supporting our local community OHV parks, clubs, groups, and other OHV organizations on the national front. We also use funds from our annual operating budget to facilitate our grant program. If you are not yet aware please look into how your local club or group may be able to organize a project together. We will also be continuing our education video series with new topics in development now. Education for all OHV enthusiasts is our goal. The success of these events allow us to extend our reach further into the local Southern OHV communities and so we sincerely thank for all your support. Many good things are happening within SFWDA. For applications and to learn more about our Grant Program; check out our Grant Program Webpage.
This new initiative by your association has been established for the benefit of its members and their OHV areas, both public and private. The SFWDA Grant initiative is our largest annual project committing a significant portion of the association net income to this program. The SFWDA Grant initiative supports the membership and regional projects focused on our core missions – Conservation, Education and Recreation.

Be Prepared * Best practices when riding with a group. When your club goes and plans a ride don't be "that guy" who holds up the group or disturbs the enjoyment of outdoors for others
Last weekend was the third annual St. Jude Four Wheeling for a Cure. Weather was in their favor and Windrock Park was packed with folks in all sorts of OHV's through the morning while Brian Overly and crew including volunteers from Knox Off Road and East Tennessee Four Wheel Drive along with the host club rattle rock helped get the event underway.
